Join us in celebrating San Diego’s legacy of Black excellence! In partnership with the San Diego Alpha

Foundation (a 501(c)3 nonprofit), the Zeta Sigma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity,

Incorporated hosts an annual holiday ball to support its educational programs and college scholarships for

San Diego county students.

To support our continuing efforts, we invite you to partner with us on the 2026 Holiday

Scholarship Ball to be held on Saturday, December 12, 2026, at the Del Mar Hilton, 15575 Jimmy Durante Blvd., Del Mar, CA 92014.

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. was established as an intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity at Cornell

University on December 4, 1906. Through the national community help program "Go-to-High-School,

Go-to-College,” our fraternity members have emphasized the importance of completing secondary

and collegiate education as a road to advancement. Statistics prove the value of this extra impetus in

making the difference in the success of young African American men, given that school completion

is the single best predictor of future economic success.

Zeta Sigma Lambda (ZSL), the San Diego chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. was chartered in 1957.

Our mission is to develop leaders, promote brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service

and advocacy to our communities. For the latter, our local chapter facilitates and coordinates a number of

activities intended to benefit at-risk and disadvantaged youth in the San Diego community.

Our organization will be celebrating our 68th ZSL Anniversary. We look forward to your support in

continuing our great tradition by participating as a partner for this year’s Scholarship Ball. For your reference,

pricing forms for the partnership opportunities are included in this document.
