Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Salutes March for Babies!
Every year, College and Alumni Chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. organize and walk to raise money for the birth and development of healthy babies in the United States and abroad. In addition to fundraising efforts, fraternity Brothers also run Project Alpha, a collaborative project designed to provide education, motivation, and mindful strategies to address issues of responsibility, relationships, teen pregnancy, and sexually-transmitted diseases for young men 12 to 18 years of age. Project Alpha, which began in 1980, consists of a series of workshops and informational sessions conducted by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Brothers designed to provide young men with current and accurate information about teen pregnancy prevention.
