Veterans Village of San Diego (VVSD) will host its 34th annual Stand Down at Roosevelt Middle School on July 30th offering immediate intervention support to at-risk and homeless veterans. The Veterans Stand Down event was founded by Bro. John Smith, a Vietnam Veteran and longtime leader in San Diego's military community. This year, we will be volunteering at the event and hosting a cookout immediately afterwards. The cookout will be an opportunity for fellowship while also providing an avenue for us to meet our potential candidates. To volunteer for the event, go to the VVSD website and register.
